Urge your MPs in the UK Parliament to support a Resolution on diabetes

18 Jul 2006 12:43

Support the ’Unite for Diabetes’ campaign and get your British Minister of Parliament to sign a motion in support of the UN Resolution on diabetes.

An early day motion has been tabled in the Parliament expressing support for the UN Resolution.  The principal sponsor of the Resolution is Adrian Sanders MP, chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Diabetes.

As of July 17, only 18 MPs have signed on to the motion. They are: Adrian Sanders, Philip Dunne, George Howarth, Peter Bottomley, Mike Penning, Andrew George, Lindsay Hoyle, Bob Russell, Mike Hancock, Nigel Evans, Bob Spink, Andrew Dismore, David Taylor, Lynne Jones, John Cummings, Richard Younger-Ross, Jeremy Corbyn
and Ann Cryer.

If your MP is not among these names, you can help the campaign by contacting and urging them to add their signature and support to the motion for a UN Resolution on diabetes. Let your voice be heard!

View a copy of the motion and see if your MP has signed.
