Lobley spreads diabetes awareness one letter at a time
27 Sep 2006 13:02
Jay Lobley has long waged a one-man letter writing campaign to spread diabetes awareness. He has sent over 10,000 letters to celebrities to educate them about diabetes and to urge them to join the fight against the deadly disease.
In addition to the more than 10,000 letters, Jay has sent 224 on behalf of the campaign for a UN Resolution on diabetes. The ‘Unite for Diabetes’ campaign welcomes Jay’s tireless efforts to help people living with diabetes, spread awareness and even help the animal kingdom. Jay is pictured above with his neighbours’ dog that also has diabetes.
To do nothing is not an option. Jay is a shining example of a champion for diabetes. We wish him continued success in his writings and hope to hear from him when he reaches his next milestone.
