IDF Regional Chair presents campaign to Dutch Minister

Hans Hoogervorst, the Netherlands Minister of Health, was presented with a ‘Unite for Diabetes’ pin and briefed on the goals of the campaign by Wim Wientjens, Chair of the International Diabetes Federation European Region .

The briefing was held on the 5 October 2006 in the Netherlands. Mr. Wientjens has actively promoted the campaign for a United Nations Resolution on diabetes and we welcome his continued advocacy on behalf of the campaign.
