Diabetes in Control Promotes UN Resolution

Highlighting the enormity of the growing diabetes pandemic, Diabetes In Control introduced the United Nations Resolution on diabetes in its May 9 newsletter.

The article, “The United Nations Takes on The Diabetes Epidemic,” introduced the IDF-led campaign for a UN Resolution to bring global awareness about diabetes, and to encourage governments to act to prevent the huge humanitarian, social and economic costs of the pandemic.

In throwing its support behind the Resolution, Diabetes In Control said, “the project is an exciting venture that could provide our cause with a great deal of recognition and attention.”
