The blue circle of the Unite for Diabetes campaign graces the cover of the June issue of Diabetes Health Magazine along with a cover article on the the campaign for a UN Resolution on diabetes.
The article, “IDF Aiming for a Worldwide Resolution on Diabetes” explores why the growing diabetes epidemic is poised to challenge the world’s healthcare systems. Diabetes Health said that the challenge “is why an 18-year-old type 1 named Clare Rosenfeld and Martin Silink, president-elect of the International Diabetes Federation are working for the proclamation of a United Nations Resolution on World Diabetes Day, November 14, 2007.”
