José Mourinho, the famed manager of Chelsea Football Club is now a global ambassador on behalf of the ‘Unite for Diabetes’ campaign.
Mourinho gives a powerful message of support on a video first released at a press conference by the Associação Protectora dos Diabéticos de Portugal on the 11th October 2006 in Portugal.
“For me it’s an honour to be the Portuguese Ambassador for the ‘Unite for Diabetes’ campaign for a United Nations Resolution on diabetes promoted by the International Diabetes Federation with the Associação Protectora dos Diabéticos de Portugal, aiming to alert the global community to the enormity of the problem and calling for global action,” said Mourinho.
He ends the video with a message his Chelsea players would find familiar.
“Together we will win!”
